I get a lot of questions from my clients on "what to wear" to their shoots! I recommend you neutral colors that match with each other member family... Stay away from heavy patters.
Shoes in good condition that are neutral & fit with your outfit. Cool textures in clothing that won’t cause distraction but actually can create a great contrast & interesting look. Belts or something that helps create a charm for you - Accessories that add but not over whelm, a simple addition to your look, maybe a belt, hat, scarf, hairpiece, jewelry, etc…
Bellow nice tips about it by Andrea Worley:
1. Make sure it's something you're comfortable in. If you're not, I can tell and it will come out in your photographs.
2. Layer, layer, layer! This adds depth to your photos and gives you the option of adding or taking away pieces to get different looks.
3. Accessorize! You can never go wrong with jewelry, hats, scarves, etc.
4. Pick colors that are similar to those in your home. Not sure what color palette to go with? Pick colors that you already have in your home decor for example if you decorate with a lot of reds and creams go that route. This way when you hang your pictures on the wall they will already go with your decor and not look crazy out of place in your home.
